How we made NEW possible

NEWaukee produced an engaging 3-hour Milwaukee sightseeing experience and comprehensive ‘New to Milwaukee’ guide for a class of 200 Kohl’s interns.

How it connected

Both the tour and resource helped this early talent see Milwaukee as a fun and dynamic place to live, work, and play, before they enter the workforce.

The tour was amazing and the interns were raving about it all day...even the Milwaukee locals said they learned something new about the city!

Helping 200 interns experience the magic of Milwaukee

Engagement Challenge

Kohl’s approached NEWaukee to produce an engaging sightseeing experience for their summer class of interns that would highlight the famous sites, sounds, and tastes of the city, in addition to personal stories from local leaders.

Engagement Solution

NEWaukee designed an engaging 3-hour tour for Kohl’s class of 200 interns that included stops at major landmarks including the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Deer District, and Summerfest, with a detour through Cathedral Square. The tour also highlighted four local entrepreneurs from New Fashioned, Chillwaukee, North Village Coffee Co. and C. Adams Bakery.

Additionally, NEWaukee produced and distributed a comprehensive, 22-page ‘New to Milwaukee’ guide that included information on neighborhoods, shopping, fitness, apartments, transportation options, cultural organizations, entertainment, sports and recreation, dining, and more.
