Part-Time Graphic Design Intern
NEWaukee is seeking a Part-Time Graphic Design Intern to join our team. You’ll assist with creating engaging visual content across various mediums, including social media, display ads, branding projects, event signage, and print materials. This is a paid opportunity.
This internship is available for the Spring 2025 semester with the potential to continue through the Fall 2025 semester based on performance and availability.
NEWaukee is a brand engagement agency that helps businesses find innovative ways to connect to their audiences. Our clients include Tsunami Express Car Wash, North Shore Bank, Harley-Davidson, Sargento and more.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in Milwaukee, WI.
What You’ll Do:
Design and edit graphics for social media channels and online display ads
Assist with branding and visual identity projects
Create and update event signage and other event collateral
Produce print-ready materials such as brochures, flyers, and posters
Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and execute design solutions
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Proficiency in Canva
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Professional, proactive attitude and attention to detail
Availability for approximately 10 hours per week (with flexibility during busier weeks)
Currently based in the Milwaukee area and available for occasional in-person collaboration
Enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in graphic design or a related field)
Preferred (but not Required):
Interest or skills in photography and/or photo editing
Interest or skills in social media content creation
Interest or skills in animation or motion graphics
