2017 Non Profit Partners
Non Profit Partnership Application

NEWaukee is excited to announce our 2017 Non Profit Partnership Lineup!

NEWaukee is pleased to announce our 2017 Non Profit Partners! Forming and maintaining these relationships is key for NEWaukee and the community as a whole to create a better city for everyone to live, grow and take part in. Throughout the year, we’ll be working integrally with the following Milwaukee-area non-profit organizations:

Artists Working in Education (AWE)
Historic Milwaukee, Inc.
Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc
Milwaukee Riverkeeper
Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC)

Our hope is that by connecting to a mission that resonates, we can join with other great people, create even more ways to get involved, and truly make a difference in our community. We will work with these non-profit partners to integrate them into pre-existing programming as well as create new programming, supply volunteers to help with volunteer opportunities through the organizations and feature them on our social media channels and website.

Keep an eye out for the amazing projects we will work on with these non-profits in 2017!

Applications for 2017 are now closed, stay tuned for 2018 Non Profit Partnership application info!

Do you run a non-profit making huge waves in our community?

NEWaukee can help you get the word out about your mission and bring volunteers to your doorstep. Our hope is that by connecting to a mission that resonates, NEWaukee volunteers can connect with other great people and make a huge difference in our community.

We are very proud of the partnerships we have throughout the Milwaukee community. Because we care very much about the impact we are able to bring to both the community and the organization, we need to be selective in the partnerships we build.

In order to be considered as a Featured Non-Profit, your organization must meet the following criteria:
– Be a registered 501c3 organization
– Be a local, Milwaukee-based or surrounding area organization
– Be willing to work with NEWaukee Volunteer Committee to coordinate involvement
– Ability to cross promote within networks
– Activation needs to be interactive, reflective of non-profit’s mission, and promotable

A partnership with NEWaukee can include:
– A feature on NEWaukee’s website and/or newsletter
– Social media promotion through NEWaukee’s channels
– On-site event opportunity at NEWaukee’s pre-existing social programming
– NEWaukee coordinated volunteer opportunity at Non-Profit location

“Non-profits have always been great community partners for us in all areas of the work we do,” says Angela Damiani, president of NEWaukee. “We created a program to make those relationships more meaningful for both NEWaukee and the groups we’ve chosen to partner with, which in turn will create a deeper impact on the communities and people we all serve.”

Throughout the year, NEWaukee will work with these non-profit partners to integrate them into pre existing programming as well as create new programming, supply volunteers to help with volunteer opportunities through the organizations, and feature them in weekly newsletters, social media channels, and on newaukee.com.
