YPWeek is a week long platform for discovery, adventure, and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter among young professionals in Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin as a whole, bringing together key leaders in the community, at purposefully chosen locations that integrate the unique cultural assets with meaningful learning or social interaction. The activities engage the millennial workforce in experiences that are important to you as a YP while educating your employers on the important role these functions play in retaining you as their workforce.
This year, YPWeek Wisconsin 2018 brings together young leaders in 29 communities: Beaver Dam, Beloit, Chequamegon Bay, Clark County, Dodge County, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, Green Bay, Jefferson County, Kenosha, La Crosse, Madison, Manitowoc, Marinette & Marshfield, Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Platteville, Racine, Rusk County, Sawyer County, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Viroqua, Walworth County, Waukesha, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids.

We are looking for organizations that want to host a program during the week to be featured on the YPWeek Milwaukee lineup. Our goal is to showcase all Milwaukee has to offer the young professional. We want to make sure we are able to include everyone that wants to participate to make sure we have a full representation of all of the amazing organizations doing work in Milwaukee!

What is YPWeek?
YPWeek is a weeklong series of events focused on discovery, adventure, and meaningful conversations about the issues that matter to young professionals in the Milwaukee area. Events and workshops are hosted in unique locations each day all across the city touching upon topics around culture, professional development, and social networking.
How can you get involved?
We would love to feature a new or pre-existing program of yours on the YPWeek Milwaukee program lineup. You will be able to fully own, brand, and produce the event.
Do you need to create a brand new program?
No, if you already host a monthly program or workshop, all we ask is that you host the program during the week of April 20-28th.
Can I create a brand new program?
Yes! If you would like to create a new program to feature during YPWeek, you are more than welcome to!
When do you need to send NEWaukee confirmation that you will be participating in YPWeek?
We ask you to have your confirmation by February 1st and have all of your event details ironed out and sent to us no later than March 1st. The sooner we have your details, the sooner your information will be on the website for everyone to see and sign up for!
What does NEWaukee provide?
NEWaukee will help with promotion of your program through the ypweek.com website as well as YPWeek’s and NEWaukee’s social media platforms and weekly newsletter. We will also provide YPWeek digital materials to help with promotion.
What do you need to provide NEWaukee?
NEWaukee asks that you allow 1-2 minutes before your program to introduce YPWeek and make sure the program is listed as ‘YPWeek Milwaukee presented by Northwestern Mutual’ in any mention of YPWeek on digital and physical materials.
