Ilke Prawitz – Ilke Prawitz is the Director of Strategic Business Insights for La Macchia Enterprises. In her current role, she is responsible for delivering strategic and actionable insights that help drive decisions for LME’s business objectives. Ilke has nearly twenty years of market research experience with an emphasis in customer satisfaction and loyalty research in both B2B and B2C environments. She has been with LME for over 6 years and loves everything there is to love about travel, especially the open-end survey comments from travelers and agents. Her passion for traveling, combined with her ability to discern findings makes translating the voice of the leisure traveler all that more exciting. Favorite destinations Curacao, Huatulco, NOLA, and Vegas!
Maureen Schommer – Maureen Schommer has been in the travel industry for 15 years, originally owning her own virtual agency and for the past 7 years as the Manager of the Concierge Team at The Mark Travel Corporation. Maureen’s customer relationships revolve around curating a vacation so that the destination, accommodations, budget and travel style are the perfect fit. She believes that worst thing you can hear upon returning from a vacation is, “What? You didn’t see this?” or “How could you have traveled there and not experienced that?” Providing expertise in the Caribbean Islands, Central/South America, Hawaii and Cruising can get to be a lively conversation between Maureen and her customers. She’s been called passionate to the point of being fanatic about showing her travelers the best experiential travel options available in each destination. Having grown up traveling all over the Caribbean, the crystal clear waters and teaming coral reefs have a special place in her heart.
Kelsey Stetson – Originally from Vermont, Kelsey Stetson has made Wisconsin her new home. Her career has taken her to new destinations – From teaching English in Tuscany to teaching History at an outdoor school back in the Green Mountains. Her social engagement career began when she took on marketing for a local farm-to-table restaurant group in Burlington, VT. This was when social media for business was just becoming a thing. Then, after a few years working for the railroad in New Mexico, she moved to Wisconsin with her husband and dog, and was hired at The Mark Travel Corporation. Kelsey is currently the Senior Manager of Social Engagement, overseeing the social media for all TMTC brands. Her time here has been, and continues to be, her favorite job.
Luke Gibson – With more than 15 years of business experience in brand marketing, media and sales development, Luke has tackled issues across multiple categories of business including travel, automotive, technology, luxury retail, media, e-Commerce and manufacturing. He has more than 10 years of executive experience and has held equity positions in two media/marketing organizations where he transitioned more than a half-billion in equity ownership. Luke speaks nationally on the subjects of digital commerce, helping businesses identify and deliver greater value through the positioning of their personal brand, the importance of marketing and the impact of emerging technology. Luke currently serves as Director of Product at VAX VacationAccess.
