NEWaukee offers hundreds of unique experiences every year. The audience and content varies to ensure the whole community feels welcome to make Milwaukee home.
We partner with over two dozen non-profits annually by finding new ways to expose their missions, drive volunteer opportunities and fundraise for their causes.
Season of Giving
Description: A month-long series of 12 non-profit volunteer activities that includes a teacher supply drive.
Date: November – December
Description: A crowd-sourced and crowd-funded idea pitch program that focuses on community projects. Winners receive cash to fund their project ideas.
We recognize ensuring our workforce has access to leadership and leadership development is critical to their ability to succeed in their careers.
Description: An interactive professional development program that simultaneously features numerous speakers and a cultural institution to a young professional audience.
Date: April and November
Description: A reverse-job fair where executives pitch to an audience of job seekers, why they should come work for their company.
Date: April and October
Description: A two-day symposium that trains young professional leadership on the best practices for setting up their annual programs.
Making friends and carving out a social life is something people of all ages love. Our social programming sets a new tone for Milwaukee’s culture.
Description: A gallery night bus tour of multiple neighborhoods and art experiences.

Down Under Disco
Description: A pop up dance party under a Milwaukee overpass.
Empty Storefronts Conference
Description: A day-long conference that focuses on holistic solutions, national trends, best practices, and success stories that lead to action plans and spark ideas to fill empty storefronts.
Description: A new business idea pitch platform that celebrates burgeoning entrepreneurs.
Make it in Milwaukee
Description: A three-day immersive tour of a company and a community with a selected group of new recruits.
Description: An exclusive summer pool party featuring live music, food and drinks, contests and more.
World’s Largest Intern Mixer
Description: An exclusive networking event for Milwaukee-area interns. Both local company executives and their classes of intern cohorts mix and mingle at the beginning of the summer to establish a new peer group at the onset of their internships.
7 Bridges BBQ
Description: A progressive dinner and music event on the Seven Bridges trail within Grant Park.
